About Me
Extensive Experience in Senior Cat Care
I cared for a senior cat who battled multiple serious health conditions, including cancer, IBD, pancreatitis, hyperthyroidism, anemia, and the need for a blood transfusion.
Despite the challenges, we shared over 11 wonderful years together.
I ensured his medical needs were met by taking him to the vet, managing his recovery after surgery, administering daily medication, cleaning wounds, adjusting his diet, and providing subcutaneous fluids.
In October, at the age of 17, he entered the end stage of chronic kidney disease. During this time, I learned to provide hospice care, including syringe-feeding liquid food to keep him comfortable.
Currently, I have another 17-year-old cat. She is healthy and beautiful but occasionally struggles with constipation. To support her, I use a syringe to administer digestive supplements, which have been effective and keep her feeling well.
I offer comprehensive cat care services, including: 1.Feeding 2.Cleaning litter boxes 3.Maintaining water fountains 4.Administering medication 5.Providing subcutaneous fluids
I want to become a pet sitter because I have cared for two senior cats and understand the worry that comes with ensuring the well-being of senior pets. Their health requires careful attention from someone experienced and compassionate.
I have experience as a pet sitter in both Canada and the UK, having cared for more than 20 cats. I have a strong understanding of cat behaviour and know how to build trust and friendship with them. I consistently receive 5-star reviews from pet owners on various sitting platforms.
