Hertfordshire Cat Sitting

Hi there! I’m Megan, and I live in Stanstead Abbotts. I’ve got a degree in Animal Sciences, and I currently work for Dogs Trust, so caring for animals is a big part of my everyday life (and something I truly love!).

I’ve always had cats of my own and couldn’t imagine life without them. Right now, I share my home with rescue cat Matty, my fluffy long-haired best friend. He’s a character – full of personality and extra funny because he only has one tooth! He’s proof that every cat is unique and wonderful in their own way.

I’ve also worked in pet shops, giving me hands-on experience with lots of different animals. But cats have always been my favourite – they’re so special, with amazing personalities and quirks that make them impossible not to love.

Whether your cat likes to play, chat, or just enjoy some quiet company, I’ll make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I know how much they mean to you, and I’ll treat them like one of my own.

I understand that every cat has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to get to know them and care for them just the way you would.

I’m happy to offer a free check-in visit before you book, so you can introduce me to your cat, show me where everything is, and make sure we’re the right fit. I can extend services to Hoddesdon, Hertford and Ware, I will be driving to these areas so there just needs to be somewhere to park.

What’s included in my cat care visits:

🐱 Daily fresh food and water 🧼 Litter box cleaning and tidying 🎾 Playtime and gentle cuddles (if your kitty enjoys them!) 📸 Daily photos and updates, so you know how your cat is doing

I can visit once or twice a day, with each visit lasting 20–40 minutes, depending on your cat’s needs and routine. I work from home so I am flexible with hours and we can discuss what times are right for your cat beforehand.
