About Me
Little Gaddesden Local Sitter
Hi, I’m Clare, a 40 year old resident of Little Gaddesden. I’m an invisibly disabled animal lover living with fibromyalgia, and I work remotely from home as a graphic designer for 3 half-days a week. Being home most of the time means I’m reliable, available, and genuinely happy to build a little routine around caring for local pets, while also giving myself a good reason to get out for gentle walks.
I’m friendly, introverted, trustworthy and a bit quirky, with an empathetic approach to animals and their people. I offer pet sitting solely within the Little Gaddesden area, keeping things local and personal. I’m always glad to meet beforehand, either at Ashridge College café or the Bridgewater Arms, so you can feel comfortable and we can say hello properly.
I work flexibly from home and have lived with and cared for many animals my whole life, from cats and dogs to small pets, so I’m comfortable adjusting to what your pet actually needs, whether that’s play and fuss or simply quiet company to help them feel at ease. I’m available for longer or multiple visits if required, and on work days with long visits, I can bring my laptop with me.
I’ve cared for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, gerbils, mice and rats, and I’m confident around all animals, even the unusual ones. I’m always happy to follow instructions carefully so your pets are looked after just as you’d want.
