A Local Cat Lover

Hello, I’m Alper from Cyprus. I am a doctor by profession and an animal lover at heart. Caring for others is a big part of who I am, and that naturally extends to the animals I share my life with.

I live with my 14-year-old cat, Hugo, who has been my loyal companion for many years. He’s not just a pet to me - he’s family. We’ve grown together through different stages of life, and our home wouldn’t feel complete without him. I truly understand how older cats need gentleness, consistency, and a calm environment, and I make sure Hugo gets all the love, comfort, and care he deserves.

I grew up surrounded by animals, so sharing my life with pets has always felt completely natural to me. I deeply respect all animals and strongly believe they make our lives richer, kinder, and more meaningful. I honestly can’t imagine a world without them. Whether it’s quiet time at home, sharing routines, or simply enjoying their presence, animals bring balance and joy into my life every single day.

I’m always happy to support my neighbors and friends whenever they need help with their pets, whether it’s for a short time or while they’re away. For me, caring for animals goes far beyond just meeting their basic needs- it’s about making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in every moment. Along with cuddles, playtime, feeding, and keeping routines consistent, I also can handle with their medications as I am experienced from my cat Hugo.

Because my own cat, Hugo, is a senior with diabetes, I have become very confident and experienced with giving insulin injections, administering oral medications and monitoring his condition.

This experience allows me to confidently help with pets that require medications or special attention, and it also gives peace of mind to owners who may be nervous about leaving their fury friends behind. Whether it’s a healthy young cat who just needs affection and play or a senior pet who needs careful monitoring and medical support- I always treat every animal as if they were my own.
