Gabby's Pawsitive Cat Sitting

Hello! I’m Gabby and I’m based in Sudbury, Suffolk. I grew up in nearby Long Melford and have been surrounded by cats for as long as I can remember. Caring for them has always been a big part of my life.

I’m currently studying part-time for an MA in Illustration and also work as a freelance artist. My course requires me to be in Cambridge on Wednesdays until July 2026, and on Mondays from September 2026 through to July 2027. Alongside this, I work part-time as a sales associate for a fashion retailer with stores in Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds. My shifts can vary, but I’m contracted to work 8 hours every Friday at the Sudbury store.

In addition to caring for my own cat, I’ve looked after a handful of friends’ cats over the years while they’ve been away, for both short and longer periods of time. This has included feeding, litter care, playtime, and making sure each cat feels comfortable and relaxed in their own home.

In 2015, I adopted my gorgeous cat Aslan, a British Shorthair–Ginger Tabby mix. He needed to be rehomed after the previous owner’s son developed a cat allergy. When I moved back to Suffolk two years later, Aslan came with me and he’s been my constant companion ever since.

Aslan’s exact age is a bit of a mystery, as his previous owner wasn’t sure how old he was when she adopted him, estimating around six years old at the time. That means he’s now at least 16, and he’s been healthy, affectionate, and an absolute joy throughout the time I’ve known him.

I offer reliable, in-home cat sitting designed to keep your cat comfortable, happy, and stress-free while you’re away. My care includes feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, playtime, and plenty of affection if your cat enjoys cuddles. I’m an excellent treat giver (within your rules!), a patient companion for shy cats, and a big fan of quality lap time for the cuddly ones.

Clear communication is really important to me, so I always keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind. I’m happy to follow specific routines and instructions to make sure your cat’s day stays as normal as possible.
