Gentle ant Patient Catsitting

Hi there! I am Louise, I am 29 ans and a French anthropology student studying the human-animal bond ! Cats are a huge part of my world, I truly love everything about them. My own cat Winnie passed away last year after 17 years together. For him, I had learned animal intuitive, as well as notions of animal first aid, some animal herbal remedies and the basics of pet massage for arthritis and animal nutrition, and and used to create all sorts of enrichments for him. I am still grieving him, and whilst I can’t have another cat at the moment, i would love to help other cat guardians and their cats. I have experience petsitting dogs and have volunteered in the past in a cat shelter.

I focus on quality rather than quantity, and I always take the time to emotionally connect with your cat(s), offer cuddles or play and make sure they feel safe and well during each visit. I never rush. I can leave enrichments (treats to find, valerian, etc) to keep them busy during visits as well. If you’d like, I can also send you an update after every visit.

My beloved Winnie was a Persian cat with chronic kidney disease, so I’m experienced with senior cats, medication (in most cases), and gentle daily care such as brushing—only if your furbaby is comfortable with it, of course.

I also have experience as a volunteer in a cat shelter, where I learned how to be especially patient and gentle with shy or less sociable cats.

As a former microbiology student, hygiene is extremely important to me, and you can be assured that all food bowls will be properly cleaned at every visit.

Do not hesitate to tell me everything you wish to share about your cat(s): their habits, likes and dislikes, rhythms, etc. I will take note of all the details to help me take good care of your beloved animals.
