Hi! I’m Sonya, and I live in Heckmondwike. I’m a huge cat lover and the proud owner of two cats, Bella (7) and Jerry (5), who I’ve had since they were kittens. They are truly my world and inspired my love for caring for other animals.

Over the years, I’ve helped stray cats and kittens by safely trapping them and taking them to a charity to be rehomed. I also have experience cat sitting for friends, which has always gone wonderfully and given me great hands on experience caring for cats with different personalities and needs. My love for animals led me to become vegetarian and to volunteer with the RSPCA for several years.

I’ve graduated in Radiography, meaning I have extensive experience working in healthcare settings with vulnerable individuals. This has helped me develop a calm, patient, and responsible approach to care.

I’m confident in meeting all of your cat’s day to day needs, including feeding (even multiple times a day), refreshing water bowls, cleaning litter trays, grooming if required, and administering medication excluding injections, as I do not feel qualified to give these. I’m also more than happy to play with your cats, keep them entertained, or put on anything they enjoy watching or listening to.

I understand how important peace of mind is, so I’m always happy to provide regular photo and video updates to reassure you that your cats are safe, happy, and well cared for. I’ll give your fur babies plenty of love and affection always respecting their individual personalities and preferences.
