Cat sitter in Cambridge

I am currently at in exciting and in-between stage of my life. I recently finished my office job to embark on a new venture and new career path in animal rescue and rehabilitation / wildlife conservation. I am hoping to start an animal management course in September and in July will be heading out to Canada on an internship in wildlife rescue! Until my departure at the beginning of July, I have a lot of free time on my hands and would love to serve and hang out with cats!

I have never been without cats in my homes, and am absolutely not planning on ever being without them! I adore them and the bond you can create with them by learning their personalities and quirks, making them feel so safe and loved. Each cat is so different and complex, and I really enjoy making it my mission to work them out so I can make them happy in the ways that best suit them.

I have had cats that thrive on attention, affection and playtime; and cats that prefer to feel the love and bond by sitting quietly in a room together at a distance, with lots of gentle words and slow blinks!

I have had cats with long hair, short hair. Old cats and kittens, One with an overactive thyroid, one with digestive issues, and I currently have a dear little three legged girl called Martha.

I am used to giving medication and am confident in injections (my family dog, Adelaide, suffered from diabetes and we would inject her daily for this). I am happy to learn your cats ways and care for them accordingly. Grooming, playtime, cuddles, or just sitting quietly together asking them how their day was - all sound perfect for me. I am of course more than happy to discuss your specific needs.

Being an incredibly passionate animal lover, of all those great and small, I am happy to take care of other pets in your home. Please feel free to discuss this with me. I have previous experience with hamsters, mice, fish, giant snails and of course dogs.
