Pet sitting the cats of Menston

I’m Hollie, a cat-loving author based in Menston 🐾

I've just moved (back) to Yorkshire with my husband and we're looking for a place to settle. Starting off by getting to know Menston, and I think you can tell a lot about a village by its cats!

I’ve grown up with cats and have years of hands-on experience caring for them. I understand that every cat has their own routines, boundaries and quirks, and I’m always guided by what makes them feel calm and secure in their own home. Happy to do a free meet and greet to discuss your requirements in detail and meet your cat!

As a writer and arts/charities professional I mostly work from home, so I am very flexible with my day as well as being reliable and organised. I hold a clear standard DBS certificate and I'm happy to provide a copy on request.

I offer:

• Visits once or twice a day, as needed. These can be 20-30 mins for feeding, litter care, administering basic medication, and either quiet companionship or active play time depending on your cat's temperament and mood. I don't mind staying longer if they need extra cuddles. Though it could also just be a pop-in if your cat is the nervous type!
• Messages and photos at each visit to keep you updated and for peace of mind.
• Care of other pets if required
• Small chores like closing curtains, watering plants etc.
