The cat companion

Hi, I’m Nic. I live in Woodley and grew up here. I have 2 teenage daughters and 3 cats, each with their own personalities (the daughters and the cats!). You can see my fur babies in my profile pic.

I have always had cats in my life (over 40 years!) and truly believe believe that a house isn’t a home without a cat :-)

My husband and I have had several cats over the years and they truly do all have unique personalities. I do have a soft spot for ginger cats and currently have 2 boys called Freddie and Charlie.

Cats have been a constant part of my life, and as you know, they’re happiest and most relaxed in their own home. That’s why I offer calm, reliable, in-home cat care tailored to each cat’s individual routine, temperament, and preferences. Whether your cat is playful, shy, elderly, or requires medication, you can trust they’ll receive patient, attentive, and knowledgeable care.

Whilst you are away you will be able to rest assured that your cats will be looked after, as well as your home. I will ensure every thing is left clean for your return.

I treat every cat as if they were my own. From feeding, litter care, playtime, and companionship to administering medication. I also keep owners updated with regular messages and photos, so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.

My aim is to provide loving, stress-free care that keeps your cat safe, comfortable, and content in their familiar surroundings - this is so important for cats.

I will feed, check on, spend time with and clean up after your cat as required.

I drive and can cover Woodley, Earley, Winnersh, Charvil, Twyford and Hurst.

I work full time from home so early morning visits would likely be between 7.50 and 9am, and afternoons would be after 4.30pm.

I have had experience with administering medication in the form of paste and tablets.

I fully understand how it may be nerve wracking to have a stranger come into your home, I always arrange a pre visit so we can meet each other before you commit.
