I've cared for animals throughout my life and have been housesitting since 2023, initially full-time for a year and now on an ad-hoc basis, taking on short or long term housesits and local visits.

Along with housesitting, other key experiences over the years include living on a small-holding where I helped care for rabbits, pigs, sheep/lambs and chickens. Volunteering through the WWOOF (Willing Workers on Organic Farms) network which involved living on farms and working with dairy cows, sheep, goats, and horses. Plus handling birds and hedgehogs while volunteering at a Wildlife Rescue Centre.

Additionally, I grew-up with cats, a Labrador, guinea pig, rabbit, chickens and fish!

With regard to my lifestyle, I work part-time as a graphic designer, and on the other days I sometimes carry-out ecology surveys or conservation tasks. I enjoy reading/audiobooks, visiting art galleries, gardening, hiking, fitness classes, drawing, calligraphy, and cosy countryside pubs!

I've been around super sociable cats, and very nervous cats and I will offer as much affection as they are happy to receive. I know that some need space or a few days to trust someone. I will make them feel as relaxed as possible and do things their way and in their own time. I am very used to their hunter instincts and having to handle wildlife.

I have spent days or months staying in various homes ranging from city apartments to country estates and am very respectful and vigilant. I am also green-fingered and will make sure any plants are cared for. I'm reliable, clean, and tidy, and I have a DBS Certificate, additionally I can provide references.

Before a visit or housesit I usually have a video call or meet in person to discuss your pet, home, and requirements. Please see details below about the two catchment areas I cover:

Surrey Hills area: I can offer drop-in visits Thursday to Monday. Or short/long housesits bearing in mind that I usually stay in London Tuesday and Wednesday nights, so I tend to leave food on a timer unless there is a neighbour or suchlike who can cover those days.

Southwest London: I can offer drop-in visits or HouseSit Tuesday to Thursday.
