Calm, therapeutic kitty care with love

Welcome, I'm Laura, cat lover, therapist, yoga teacher, writer.

I have a calming aura that animals tend to feel safe around. I grew up caring for horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, dogs and cats. I hold a special place in my heart for cats and they have always been an important part of my life.

I currently have 2 rescue cats of my own. Ody was found roaming the streets, confirmed as a stray by the vet. When I took him in he was nervous and covered in dust. But soon he was accepting of my cuddles and a little swipey with his paws when playing!

I also have Bubbles who grew up mostly in a cupboard before rescue by my partner. She loves indoor life and is obsessed with food!

I love meeting rescue animals because they so much deserve a second chance. It is amazing earning their trust especially if they have been sadly mistreated in the past.

I can't wait to meet new furry friends.

I enjoy creating a calming environment for your pets, getting to know their quirks and unique personalities, their favourite toys and treats, and adapting to their needs. I am especially good with nervous pets and always give them the patience and time they deserve to get to know me and feel comfortable.

I know some cats prefer their space and will respond to their cues if they have had enough attention.

For housesitting I am extremely clean, tidy and quiet and happy to contribute to other household care such as plant watering or bringing in post. I work freelance and I am usually found working quietly, reading or writing my novel.
