Caring London couple: I run with dogs, she does yoga with cats and send photo updates

I am a software engineer working for a digital bank and my partner is a Psychologist working for the NHS in a hybrid model. We're a quiet, respectful couple based in London who treat every home and pet as if they were our own. We love nature, good food, travelling and animals, and we usually plan our trips around walks, parks and local experiences rather than tourist traps. I am passionate about dogs, science and all things tech, and she is passionate about cats and the human mind, always curious about behaviour and personality (human and animal). At home she stretches on the yoga mat with the cats, and I run with the dogs (and sometimes cats) in the park or let them pull me on the skateboard; I even have an electric board for the lazier ones who prefer being carried or going at their own pace. We are tidy, organised and very communicative, happy to send regular photo and video updates so that owners can travel with peace of mind.

We recently moved forward with a mortgage, so we are balancing work, life and travel carefully and house sitting lets us explore new places in a more local, authentic way. We deeply miss having our own cats and dogs around every day, so spending time with other people's pets is honestly the best mental support we could ask for. For us, house and pet sitting is about building trust: keeping a home clean and safe, following routines exactly, and giving pets the affection, playtime and exercise they are used to. In return, we get the joy of animal company, inspiration from different cities and neighbourhoods, and the chance to create long‑term relationships with owners who know they can rely on us.
