Edinburgh Meow Care

Hi! I’m currently studying at the University of Edinburgh and living here in the city. Alongside my studies, I truly love spending time with cats.🐱

Back home in China, I have a cat named Tomato🍅, who is now three years old (turning four this September). We adopted him when he was five months old, and since then he has been a very important part of our family.

Spending time with Tomato has shown me how unique and expressive cats can be. I genuinely enjoy playing with him — especially with feather wands, hide-and-seek around the house, and little tunnel adventures. Those playful moments are some of my favourite parts of the day. Over time, I’ve learned how to read his mood and energy, whether he’s feeling active and curious or calm and just wanting quiet company.🪴

For me, caring for a cat means creating a relaxed, loving environment where they feel safe, understood, and happy. As a cat sitter, I always try to tune into their little moods and quirks — as if I’m gently figuring out what’s going on in their adorable little minds — so they feel truly seen and cared for.
