Reliable, loving and experienced cat sitter!

Hi there, I’m Katie, a cat loving single mum living in Chilworth with my two daughters, 4 indoor cats (2 Birmans and 2 Ragdolls) and 1 Labrador. I work from home and my life is mostly ruled by my animals! We all agree that the cats have top priority at home and a cat on your lap is a guaranteed way to dodge doing the household chores. I’ve lived with cats all my life and owned them as soon as I moved into my first home. I’m experienced with giving medicine (one of mine likes to pretend he’s feral when it comes to tablets and eye drops!), getting matts out of long haired coats, catching mice (and toads and birds!), clearing up cat sick (4 long haired indoor cats is a lot of hairballs..!) and just generally catering to all the nuances every cat has. I love all cats, and can’t pass one in the street without trying to persuade it over for a cuddle.

I’m happy to do all the things you would usually do to keep your cats happy. Feed them, change water, clear out litter trays, clear up cat sick, and obviously lots of cuddles.

I’m also comfortable giving medication, trying to catch the live mice and clearing up the dead mice! I’m happy to open and close curtains and change lighting when I’m there, water plants and will treat your home with utmost respect.

I will also keep a close eye on your cat and act quickly if I think they are unwell. You can expect regular updates and photos if you’d like them, as I understand you will want reassurance that everything is going smoothly at home.

I have tropical fish at home and am happy to feed yours too if you need. I’ve had guinea pigs in the past too - please just enquire if you’d like me to take care of any other animals as well.
