Hi, I’m Joni — a lifelong cat lover with hands-on animal care experience.

I had my own wonderful cat back in Ireland, Darcy, who reached the grand old age of 18. She was rescue who I had from from 3 weeks old, bottle-feeding her every couple of hours.

Alongside that, I previously worked as a veterinary nursing assistant, where I gained practical experience handling cats calmly and confidently, administering basic care, and understanding animal health and behaviour.

I’m also a professional artist with a specialism in pet portraits, so I truly appreciate how much our animals mean to us. I treat every cat I care for as an individual, making sure they feel safe, relaxed and respected in their own home.

Whether your cat loves company or prefers their space, I’ll adapt to their personality and keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away.

During each visit, I’ll make sure your cat has fresh food and water, a clean litter tray, and of course plenty of attention tailored to their personality — whether that’s playtime, brushing, lap time, or simply calm company.

For you as an owner, I’ll send regular updates with photos so you can see how your cat is doing while you’re away.

As a professional pet portrait artist, I also offer optional portrait sketches or commissions — a lovely keepsake of your cat, or even a surprise gift while you’re travelling. It’s a unique way to celebrate them while they’re being cared for.

Above all, I aim to keep your cat’s routine consistent and their environment calm, so they feel secure in their own home.
