East Sussex-based experienced catsitter :)

Hi! My name’s Jodie and I am a 29-year-old Masters student (Sussex Uni) and sash window renovator with my family’s small business, living in Polegate. I come from a long line of cat lovers and have looked after cats every day for most of my life. While I’m studying, I’m currently living with my parents and our 3 gorgeous black cats who all have different needs. I have experience working with children, older people, and I am also in the process of getting DBS checked which will be available soon!

Having cats my whole life, I’ve cared for 8-week-old kittens up to a very wobbly 19-year-old (my lovely Tickles, who my parents probably regret letting me name when I was seven!)

Your cat’s happiness and comfort is my top priority. I’ve grown up with anxious cats so I’m very used to keeping a low volume and calm environment, and slow-blinking at them to gain trust! I understand that all cats have different needs and personalities, some need constant attention and some need to be left until they come to you, and whatever their needs are, I’m happy to accommodate.

During my stay, I can: - feed, play with, cuddle, spend time with, and give (not too many!) treats to your cat(s) - ensure water bowls are always topped up - clean out and freshen litter trays regularly - ensure a safe and comfortable environment - care for any small pets you may have like hamsters, fish, rabbits, etc.!

I can also… - provide light housekeeping such as emptying bins, general tidying up, and ensuring basic groceries are stocked for your return - administer medications (lots of experience with this) - provide text, picture, and video updates of your kitties whenever you’d like them.
