Madley Park Cat Sitter

I've always loved cats and we adopted our first pair from the RSPCA back in 1997. Over the years we've had a total of 7 cats, all rescues, with our current pair from Four Paws Cat Rescue in Oxford.

We've lived on Madley Park since 2005, moving into a new build home in May that year. I worked in IT until taking semi-retirement a couple of years ago. Since then I've driven a minibus part-time for West Oxfordshire Community Transport, including through Madley Park.

Just before Covid struck we took on a new cat who liked to try and follow us when we went for a walk, so I started to carry Dreamies to distract him. Since then I never leave home without them and have made many feline friends as a result, including the famous Simba. I may already know your cat!

Making friends and gaining the trust of a cat is very rewarding as they are famously honest with how they feel. I love to give treats to any cat I meet, and I have several local cats who come running when they see me out and about. Now I have more time on my hands I would love to get to know more Madley Park cats.

For my work in IT I had to be security cleared, and for my minibus driving I am currently DBS cleared.
