Jana loves cats

Hello! I’m 48 years old and a lifelong cat lover. I’ve had cats in my life since I was a little girl, so caring for them feels completely natural to me. I truly adore them — their personalities, their independence, their sensitivity — and I’ve always felt a very special connection with them.

I’m a mum of three and a proud owner of a beautiful black short-haired cat called Baby, who is very much part of our family. Living with cats for so many years has given me a deep understanding of their behaviour, moods and needs. I genuinely feel I “speak cat” and can tune into what they’re feeling — whether they want playtime, cuddles, quiet company or just respectful space.

I’ve previously done pet sitting through Trusted Housesitters, caring for cats (and homes) with love and reliability. I’m calm, responsible and attentive, and I treat every cat as if they were my own.

Your cat’s wellbeing and happiness would always be my priority, and I would make sure they feel safe, cared for and loved while you’re away.

I offer both daily home visits and overnight stays, with a preference for overnight or longer-term bookings as I love giving cats consistent company and unhurried care.

During visits, I make sure your cat receives quality time — not just feeding and cleaning, but proper attention, affection and calm companionship. I understand that every cat is different, so I always tune into their personality and energy. Whether they want cuddle time, playtime, brushing, quiet company, or simply someone to sit peacefully with them, I respect exactly what they need.

For overnight stays, I provide a reassuring presence in your home so your cat feels safe and settled in their own familiar environment. I aim to keep their routine as normal as possible while giving them plenty of love and attention.

I’m also comfortable administering medication and following any specific care instructions carefully and responsibly. Your cat’s wellbeing, comfort and happiness are always my priority.
