The Relatable Cat Sitter: Loving the Fluff & the Attitude

In 2007, when I moved to the UK from Hong Kong, my cat moved right along with me -- across borders and through every major life change since. Since he passed away, there’s been a quiet space in my home that I haven't been ready to fill with a new pet of my own just yet.

After leaving the 9-5 grind to become a self-employed content creator, I’ve gained the flexibility to design a life. Part of that means slowly bringing cats back into my daily routine.

Because I work for myself, I’m not rushing between meetings; I have the time to actually be there, whether that’s for a high-energy play session or just sitting quietly nearby while a shy cat gets used to my presence. I value honesty over a 'perfect' highlight reel, so you can expect real updates and a sitter who truly appreciates the privilege of hanging out with your cat while you're away.

What I do during every visit:

1) Fresh water with every visit (bowls rinsed and refilled). Precise feeding of main meals and scheduled snacks according to your instructions.

2) Scooping the box and cleaning the surrounding area. I make sure the floor is free of stray sand/litter so you don't come home to a mess.

3) Dedicated time for play to burn off energy and chatting with them to provide company. I’m happy to sit quietly with shy cats or provide high-energy interaction for social ones.

4) Since I create content for a living, you’ll receive clear, honest photo or video updates of your cat so you can see exactly how they’re doing.
