Keen cat lover!

Lovely to meet you! I’m Eve and I’m a lifelong lover of cats and all other animals, having been vegan for 22+ years. I work in charity events for a cancer charity.

I had the privilege of living with my housemate’s lovely cat Mildred (who you can see in my profile picture). She was a rescued stray, who’d lost all her teeth but one. When she first moved in she wasn’t keen on human contact but in her old age she softened, often sitting on my knee during work meetings or would curl up on my bed and enjoyed being stroked. Due to her lack of teeth she couldn’t eat dry food but would go crazy for cat friendly cheese paste!

I’m originally from Nottinghamshire, where many of my friends and neighbours have cats. This means I’ve been cat sitting regularly since I was a teenager. While I’ve sadly never owned my own cat, but I have had a rescue Syrian hamster called Russell. He was a very spoilt hammy as I’d buy him new toys and treats weekly.

Since moving to London 4 years ago, I’ve found myself missing the company of pets. We had a regular cat visitor who would paw at our door or come in through the window most days for a year until her owner moved away. I would love to meet and look after cats in the area. 🐈

I’m here to help look after your cats and will follow any care instructions given. This includes feeding routines, litter tray cleaning and grooming if required. I love cuddles and playtime and will take time getting to know your cat and what they like.

I also have experience looking after dogs, rabbits, rodents (hamsters, degus and rats), snakes, snails and fish. I’m happy to look after your plants and help with jobs like collecting post.
