I take care of people’s cats while they’re away — feeding them, cleaning litter boxes, giving medication if needed, and most importantly, keeping them company so they feel safe and comfortable in their own home. I love cats because they each have unique personalities. They’re independent but affectionate once they trust you. There’s something special about earning that trust whether it’s a shy cat finally coming out to sit near me or a confident one greeting me at the door. I also love the calm energy they bring. Spending time with cats doesn’t feel like work to me — it feels peaceful and rewarding.”
