Human seeking cat friends

Hello! 26 year old sadly living in a cat-free home in Tottenham. After moving out of my parents house a few years ago I am seriously missing the daily cat cuddles and 24/7 fluffy hot water bottle, and unfortunately renting in London makes having a friend of my own very difficult. And working from home for a year has definitely made the cat craving get worse! My experience with cats is mainly from my friends lovely girls and my family cats, who I've spent the most time with. My parents have had our cats for 7 years - Pepper and Dermot. Pepper - absolute princess who decides when she wants cuddles and when she doesn't. I've learned to respect when she wants her own time, and to accept a dead leg when she decides she needs a 4 hour nap on my lap. She sometimes always knows when I have an important meeting as she loves to rub her white fur on my black trousers. Loves two handed full body strokes, and belly tickles (until she doesn't) Dermot - 7 years ago he refused to be touched by anyone, hid in the garden whenever anyone came round and would jump a mile if you made a remotely sudden movement even from across the room. Now you won't find him more than 1m from my mum, normally taking up all the room on the sofa, fast asleep in front of a fire. Loves clean white washing and making it extremely unclean (black cat who loves sitting in soil). Total sucker for a good chin and ear scratch. I love how cats have such distinct personalities and know their own boundaries. I can't wait to meet yours and dust off my professional chin scratchers (hands)
