Cat sitter in Lewes

I am a freelance journalist who works from home in Lewes. In my spare time I enjoy walking around the South Downs.

I work varied hours and am usually available every day for cat sitting. I spend a lot of time freelance writing on my laptop so I'm happy to cat sit for a good few hours if that's what the little moggy requires.

I had a cat, Domingo (the grumpy one pictured), who sadly died last winter after losing a scrap with a fox up in Yorkshire. He was getting old and had taken up residence in our old chicken hut at the end of the garden.

My wife and I are saving for a house and we're missing not having cats because of renting rules. We have a plan to go straight to Battersea Cats Home as soon as the deeds are signed!

So it makes sense to cat sit around Lewes and share the love. I hope your cats would appreciate it as much as I would.

I love to play with cats and give them all the attention they desire. This is also helpful for the cat, who may be stuck in a house for a week or two with little human interaction.

I'm also very diligent with hygiene and cleanliness, so making sure litter trays and food bowls are sparkling clean is another priority of mine!

During a booking I will stay in contact with you and send pictures every day (if you like!), giving you an update on how your cat is doing. After all, it's always fun to receive a picture of your cat while on holiday or away from home.
