Cat sitter in Braintree

Hi I am Roger, and I live in Great Bardfield near Braintree in Essex. I am semi retired and currently looking for part time work. I spent most of my career as a Social Worker, which was very interesting and challenging.

I like cats because I find in they give real companionship along with Independence. I love the way each one has its own character with their foibles and habits that make them endearing to me. I like the way cats ensure you respect them, and that is what makes them independent.

My wife and I have two Burmese cats Ted and Miranda, who are real characters. Ted is aged 19 and is very fit for his age, although he spends more time indoors now than he did in the past. He loves being cuddled and made a fuss of. Miranda is aged 6 and still have some kitten like habits, as well as being a skilled hunter (watch out mice!). She loves having her tummy tickled and lying on laps. Both of them are enjoying the Spring sunshine right now.

They both have real characters and love being petted and made a fuss of. If they are not in the mood, they will let you know, but most times they are.

So when I first meet a cat I make sure I let him or her come to me first and I get to know them in stages.
