Hello dear community,

I grew up with cats, turtles, and fish, so treating every animal with love and respect comes naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve also gained experience through pet sitting: I’ve cared for large, spirited dogs, looked after young tomcats, and administered medication to elderly cats—whether orally or by injection.

My own cat developed diabetes in his later years, which meant I regularly gave him insulin shots. I’ve also administered tablets to cats I looked after in the past.

I always take the time to get to know each animal and to keep them entertained (or the other way around). For example, I once cared for a three-year-old Great Dane who showed aggression toward other male dogs. While walking her, I became used to reacting quickly and calmly in urgent situations.

I’m not a professional yet, which is why I truly value every opportunity to learn from the animals I care for and become a better sitter.
