Hi! I'm Melanie, a 20-year-old cat lover with a passion for taking care of furry friends. I would be thrilled to meet your adorable kitties and provide them with the care and attention they deserve. I'm currently studying Psychology at university, a field that fascinates me and one I’m excited to pursue in the future.

I’ve been surrounded by cats my entire life. Since I was 4, I've had the pleasure of caring for my adorable tuxedo cat, Snap, who’s now a spry 16-year-old. Despite his age, I still adore him to pieces. My dad also has two little ginger cats, now 12 years old, and I frequently cat-sit for him, giving me plenty of hands-on experience. I’ve also looked after his girlfriend's adorable cats: two fluffy ragdolls, a black and white cat, and a pure white one. Caring for these lovely kitties has only deepened my love and understanding of cats!

I also have experience caring for dogs. I’ve frequently looked after my aunt’s dog, so if there’s a dog in the house that needs some walking or extra attention, I’d be more than happy to take care of them too!

I will make sure your cats stay engaged and entertained, happily playing with them to provide the exercise they need to stay fit and healthy. I genuinely enjoy spending time with cats, so your cat will have plenty of playtime. My goal is to keep them both mentally and physically stimulated, and I’m excited to shower them with affection and plenty of pets!

Although my experience with administering medication is limited, as my own cat has been generally healthy, I have given medication on occasion. I am a quick learner and would be more than happy to follow your instructions for any medication your cat needs. Cats usually warm up to me quickly, I think they can tell I'm a cat person! I will provide your cat with plenty of pats and love while you're away, offering comfort and companionship to help ease their separation from you as they will be missing you a lot!

Finally, I will ensure your home remains secure and spotless, as if I were never there. I’m happy to clean up after the cats, including any hairballs or messes they might make. I will strictly maintain your home’s security by not allowing anyone else inside and ensuring that doors are locked both upon arrival and departure.
