Hi,

I'm a photographer, kids' yoga teacher, and mum-of-five (two children, two cats and a dog!).

I was born into a family of cat-lovers - we always had cats, so I’ve never known life without them. As a teenager, with my parents both working full time, I was responsible for feeding, grooming, and generally looking after our cats. I was with them as they went through injuries, pregnancies, became mothers, and grew old.

Sadly all my parents' cats have passed on, but I now have my own two kitties: Orca and Luna. They’re both rescues and they very much complete our little family.

I use Cat in a Flat regularly to find sitters for Orca and Luna when I go away and think it’s a great service.

If you'd like me to come to your home to keep your cat company while you're away, I'd be delighted. If your cat enjoys children, my eight year old can come along too - she’s a pro cat cuddler and loves to play too (she even creates her own cat toys out of tin foil, string and feathers). But if your feline friend prefers adult company, I can come alone.

I think it's so important to connect with cats on their terms, and would be led by your cat in terms of what they felt like doing: sitting and having a cuddle, playing, having their chin or tummy stroked, or just being together quietly.

Happy to fulfil all and any feeding, grooming and medication requirements (I've never given a cat an injection but would be happy to learn from you how to do it).
